Another check on the wishlist.
I’ve always loved ballroom dancing.
No. It wasn’t brought about by the film ‘Dirty Dancing’. I’ve just always loved the grace and elegance. Then again, this probably all stems back to my love for the ‘old days’ (pre-1900 etc).
Today, a former teacher of mine approached me about befriending someone my age who lives here in the US.
And, would you know it, she’s a ballroom dancer!!
So cool.
I learned all of this after I’d started to chat with her on Skype. She was totally lovely to talk to too.
It struck me after our first conversation that Frank and I had talked about hosting costume nights (with outdoor dancing) at our house in the late summer, with option to learn how to dance correctly some days before-hand.
Now, it would seem, we might be able to hire a friend to do the instructing!
