I woke up at 2.30am feeling like I needed to throw up. Sadly, I didn’t actually manage to throw up until a few hours later.
My stomach was upset beyond words.
When I finally did throw up, it was the most near-solid puke that I’ve ever known. Seriously gross.
All I can put it down to is that I ate a LOT of coconut the night before, and from what I’ve read after some quick research, the excess saturated fats in coconut can make you quite ill!!
I spent the whole day in and out of ‘consciousness’ yesterday (the highlights of which were getting to enjoy two long nap with a very content little baby Eliza) and after all of that, I was still able to sleep well when it was finally the ‘normal’ time to sleep!
All I could stomach the thought of eating yesterday was a green smoothie, which I had around 5pm.
This morning, I’m back at work, feeling a bit delicate … but otherwise fine.
